Vivo X20 Plus UD is the world's First on-screen fingerprint scanner smartphone

The year 2017 was one of those years that can be marked as the inception of an era which gave a completely new perspective of what a smartphone could be in the near future. Then, for the first time there came the intimidating mobile phone design from Samsung in the smartphone series Galaxy S8/S8+ followed by major mobile phone brands like Apple, Google, Xiaomi, etc. While most of us speculated that Samsung will be the first to implant fingerprint sensor into the display to its Galaxy S8/S8+ which was not possible at that time then our concentration changed to Apple's iPhone X which again rumoured to accommodate similar tech, Vivo is the first mobile phone manufacturer in the world which made it possible to place fingerprint sensor below the screen of the smartphone. Vivo X20 UD Plus There was an announcement made by Synaptics (which is another tech giant specialising in manufacturing touch interface devices like fingerprint sensors, touch controllers, etc.) which stated tha

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is almost here

Samsung has once again done the impossible and they have produced a marvellous flagship smartphone that everyone by now know that it's name is Galaxy Note 8. Samsung has already revealed Note 8 in an event on 23rd August and Samsung has beautifully managed to squeeze everything in its phablet flagship which incredibly boosts the productivity and provides maximum performance. Note 8 follows similar design elements which were used in Galaxy S8 like slim bezels, dual edge infinity display (0.1" larger than the S8), fingerprint on the rear side because of unavailability of space on the front as Samsung was unable to integrate the sensor with the display. Some are new like the dual cameras with optical image stabilisation on the back which is the latest tech developed by Samsung and Note 8 is the only device to have such a feature in its segment. It also consists S-pen (which is customary to all the Notes).

The body of this phone is slightly different than that of the S8 Plus.It is rated with IP68 waterproof rating. The S-pen slot is next to USB-C port. Bixby assistant that came up with the S8 will continue to be featured in the upcoming flagships and so it does come up with the Note 8 having Bixby button.

Display technology of Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 is already said to be the best screens available in the market. Display resolutions of the S8, S8+ and Note 8 is same 2960x1440 which is referred as QHD+ display resolution with 18.5:9 ratio, with S8+ and Note 8 having nearly same dpi to be 529 and 522 respectively.
Note 8 is a fully packed fantastic flagship smartphone. equipped with flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (US-version) or Exynos 8895 (Rest of the world), 6GB RAM housed with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB (Emperor edition) of internal storage while providing MicroSD card slot.
Most amazing piece of engineering of this phone is its dual cameras fitted in Optical Image Stabilisation rig, which is a new feature in the smartphone market. Samsung's S8 and S8+ already have had the best camera, which were 12 Megapixels f/1.7 with dual pixel technology. This same sensor is placed with a telephoto wide-angle lens of 12 Megapixels f/2.4 rigged in OIS system capable of producing 2x zoom, and various other features you won't find in an ordinary smartphone or other flagship competitions.
Battery capacity of this smartphone is 3300 mAh which is lesser than the S8+ due to the housing of S-pen, but it will surely be enough to last a whole day. There is not much difference with the software provided in Note 8 and S8, both runs Android Nougat 7.1.1, while there will be some difference due to the S-pen which will enhance the productivity. There is also a feature which can make GIF of a simple drawing made with the help of S-pen called Live Message. As far as the cost of this smartphone is concerned, It will surely be higher than the S8 and S8+ models.

Pre-orders for the device have already started and there are lots of goodies Samsung has said that they will provide with the pre-orders which are worth a fortune, like Samsung Dex Dock station, Evo SD card of 128GB storage and much more. After the Note 7 fiasco, this will surely be a successful device and will help Samsung in gaining its reputation back like they did with the S8 models. Note 8 is likely to go on sale somewhere in mid-September.
